Home from Home is the leading dog boarding agency covering East Sussex. We have placed dogs in loving, private family homes since 1996. We cover Hastings, Bexhill-on-Sea, Brighton, Eastbourne, Hove, Newhaven, Lewes and the surrounding areas.
We can offer a loving, caring, family environment for your dog that kennels and dog sitting services just can’t guarantee. We understand that your dog is part of the family and when you can’t care for them yourself, whether it be because of work or pleasure, you want the best round the clock care and attention for your pet.
Dog boarding ensures that your dog is looked after 24/7 and their routine is maintained whilst you’re away. You can provide a collection of your dog’s favourite toys so that their time away from home is as close to their usual life as possible.
At Home from Home, there are no hidden costs and no extra fees to pay, registration is free. Please call us on 01932 568584 where one of our dedicated team will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Alternatively, please click on the button on the side panel and proceed to register.

A. When did you join Home from Home?
I rejoined Home from Home in December 2016 after having a break of a few years to relocate and family commitments.
B. What made you decide that you wanted to look after other people’s dogs?
I first joined Home from Home in 2011 I think as that's how far my records go back, because we had lost our very much loved Labrador Max. I felt I could not replace him and missed having a dog around. When I saw the advertisement in the local paper I gave you a call and went on from there. I loved all the dogs I cared for and also loved the many different breeds I was able to look after, young and old.
C. What do you like most about working with us?
I like working with Home from Home, because of the nature of the work. I use the word 'work' but it really isn't, I love caring for dogs and the flexibility of when and how long I look after them for. I am often asked why I don't get one of my own, my answer is I am not ready to commit all my time as I enjoy going away on holidays when I can and also seeing family and friends. This is a great opportunity for me to love and care for the dogs I have stay and enjoy the different characters and not forgetting the exercise.
Home from Home are a great work force in my opinion and would recommend to anyone who would like to devote some of their time to caring for dogs in their own home.

A. When did you join Home from Home?
I joined Home from Home in 2011
B. What made you decide that you wanted to look after other people’s dogs?
I have always had dogs around in my life, but as I spend time abroad in winter, it's not possible to have dogs of my own. So after spending two years volunteering at Dogs Trust I decided to care for dogs from home.
C. What do you like most about working with us?
I like the fact that even though I'm pretty busy in my own right, and unfortunately have to turn down quite a few dogs, you still offer me new bookings.
