Dog Boarding in Buckinghamshire

We were the first company in the UK to offer a home boarding service for dogs. Dog owners come to us when they’re looking for someone to provide private and exclusive care for their pets whilst they are away.

We are proud to cover Buckinghamshire including: Aylesbury, Chesham, High Wycombe, Newport Pagnell, Marlow and Amersham and the surrounding areas.

If you don’t want to leave your pets in a traditional boarding kennel or in households with multiple dogs, we will find you the perfect carer for your dog. You will be able to meet your carefully selected carer prior to your holiday, so that you can go away with confidence and knowledge that your dog is in safe hands!

Your booking is tailor made to your specific requirements to ensure that your dog’s needs are fully taken care of. Plus, there are no hidden costs or extra fees to pay at Home from Home. Registration is free and takes no more than 10 minutes.

If you live in Buckinghamshire or the surrounding areas and wish to find a safe, comfortable and loving home environment to leave you dog please call us on 01932 568584. Or alternatively, please register by clicking the button on the side bar.

Carer Comments

A. When did you join Home from Home?
I joined Home from Home as a carer in March 2016

B. What made you decide that you wanted to look after other people’s dogs?
I had retired and wanted to keep active but not commit myself to a full time job. I also wanted to do a job I enjoyed -- and working for Martin and his agency has certainly given me that. We had kept dogs all our lives but at this point in our lives we didn't want to commit to having our own dog.

C. What do you like most about working with us?
I decided to work for an agency rather than "go it alone" as I wanted the security and reassurance of help being on hand in case of any problems. I knew as soon as I met Martin that he was committed to the care of any dogs placed with his carers and he has proved to be just that. I know that he is on hand 24 hours a day 7 days a week and will answer his phone immediately to help or give advice if needed. All of his staff are friendly, efficient and caring. I have complete confidence in the agency and have greatly enjoyed looking after all my "house guests" and meeting all their lovely owners.

B. What made you decide that you wanted to look after other people’s dogs?
My husband and I have had a dog of our own all our married life. When our Cocker Spaniel died aged 16 years we decided not to have another. However it was not long before we missed the presence of a dog around the house so it seemed quite natural to look after and love other people's whilst they were away.

C. What do you like most about working with us?
Home from Home are good to work for - they try to match you with the right dog. They are there if you need them 24hrs a day 365 days a year.

Reviews

We were recommended Home from Home Dog Boarding Agency by our vet and they have been very easy, professional and helpful at every step of the way.

Matilda is very nervous around people she doesn't know so we met up with her carer a few days before leaving her overnight as a trial. This worked very well and so we continued with our booking for five nights to allow the whole family to go away. Matilda was pleased to see her carer when we dropped her off and went off happily with her, which was reassuring. When I picked her up she was pleased to come home but not stressed in any way.

Thanks very much we will definitely use again.
