Home from Home is not subject to Distance Selling Regulations. By paying your deposit you are confirming your booking and therefore entering a legal contract with Home from Home subject to the Terms and Conditions below.

You confirm that you agree that you are confirming your booking by paying the deposit by credit/debit card over the phone. Only once a deposit has been received, will we release your carer's details.

You confirm that you agree that once you have been given your carer’s details, you will make an appointment to go and visit the carer with your dog within 7 days.

You confirm that you agree to contact the agency within 3 days of meeting your carer if you are unhappy for any reason. You must meet your carer at the carer's home in order to 'reject' the carer. Just talking to your selected carer on the telephone is unacceptable.

You confirm that if you cancel your booking giving less notice than one calendar day, the outstanding balance is due to your carer.

You confirm that you agree that if you cancel your booking for whatever reason, your deposit is 100% non–refundable. However, if you are unhappy with the carer we have introduced you to and you do not wish to be introduced to an alternative carer, we will refund you 75% of your deposit. Should you need to cancel your booking due to the unfortunate loss of your dog, we will refund 50% of your deposit. The deposit will be adjusted to account for any remaining dogs.

You confirm that you agree that should you need to shorten your booking or return from holiday early and decide to collect your dog before the end of your booking, you will not be entitled to any refund.

You confirm that you agree for the agency to make any decisions regarding your dog’s health/welfare, providing it is acting in the best interest of your dog and is on the advice of a qualified veterinary surgeon. Alternatively, provide an emergency contact number for someone to make these decisions on your behalf. You agree to pay any vet bills that may be incurred on your return.

You confirm that you agree should your dog’s behaviour become uncontrollable, destructive, or unreasonable, you accept that he/she will be placed in a dog boarding kennel until your return and that this will be subject to a transfer charge. You will be responsible for any costs of the boarding kennel. In addition, you agree to pay the cost of any damage caused by your dog to the carer’s home.

You confirm your dog is non-aggressive. Should it show aggressive tendencies towards the dog carer or their family, you accept that he/she will be placed in a dog boarding kennel until your return and that this will be subject to a transfer charge. You will be responsible for any costs of the boarding kennel.
